Messing around and generally clowning around. It usually deals with heartfelt decisions and hopelessness. Uunan and the Stone - It's usually played at a pivotal moment when the Strawhats find out important information behind a characters motives. Only Luffy's crew could be so awesome lounging around to this music. Which is why I really enjoy this track as well. And we all know those moments are rare - few and far between. Hungry Luffy - When things are slower paced for the Strawhats. It's that 'sigh' of relief and it's another perfect track as well. However it's more on a grandeur scale than the previous.Īnd even another feely one, We Did It! - The battle is finally over. It's beautiful and I cry when it plays because each moment is just awesome when this track comes on.Īnother feely one, Mezase, One Piece! - This one is a tearjerker as well. It's usually at some heartfelt resolution.

It's played in the new world and when Sanji starts kicking ass. I can't help but bob my head to this serious/goofy sounding track. The Fight Continues - So much determination in the track. I bring this up because I never see any of the music discussed here, and it's one of the reasons I got so into it, as the music fit so well with the action. Zeal (again, it's from film z, and not really part of the official soundtrack, but I still love it.) My top 5 (in no particular order) currently are It seems like Toei put all the budget into the music, and it paid off, there's action packed pieces like Luffy's Fierce Attack to jazzy beats like Sanji's theme and can even pull off pretty sad melodies like Kaidou (which is from film z, but whatever, the song is still amazing)īut me gushing like the little fanboy I am aside, what are your favorite tunes in one piece? It seems to have a song for any occasion, and by god, I can't think of a single opening I don't adore (even 12 and 13, which I used to despise have kind of grown on me). I don't think anyone is going to argue that one piece has an amazing soundtrack.
